Message from the Mayor

Welcome to the beautiful city of Brockville! We are located
on the banks of the St. Lawrence River at the start of
the 1000 Islands - that fact alone is a strong incentive
to discover the many reasons why our community enjoys
such an enviable lifestyle, and why we are often regarded
as the "Pride of the St. Lawrence".
Brockville
is a well planned, functional community, offering affordability
for citizens of all ages, from young families right through
to retirees. Our residential tax base and utility rates
are among the lowest in Ontario. Our health care facilities
and related services continually receive high ratings,
as attested to by the "Satisfaction Surveys" completed
by patients at our excellent hospitals. As well, we are
fortunate to be within approximately a one hour travel
radius of world class cancer and heart facilities and
their attending specialists.
Brockville is not only progressive, beautiful and historical,
but is also one of the fastest growing destinations for
residential relocation. Come to visit, enjoy the experience,
and stay to become part of the 1000 Islands lifestyle.
